Garden and Gun meets Prohibition in this modern-day gentleman’s club.  For the trio of Owners, bigger than life and full of humor, the stakes are high. Their reputation precedes them: fantastic food and personal service. WHI curates their favorite guests along with the country’s most interesting people through invitation-only membership to the “Pappy van Winkle of Dining”. The experience begins with a sleek white reception room typical of an investment banking firm.  When the walls silently slide open, they reveal a dark 1920’s style speak-easy.  Vintage bankers lamps light craft cocktails on an embossed leather bar. Backlit custom walnut bar paneling is held by custom forged iron horse footrails.  Everything is custom, carefully designed to curate the quirky decadence of the dining experience. Custom brass buttons embellish the large barstools near a mahogany wrapped “cigar box” nook and tufted leather sofas with rich marble tables create intimate dining lounges nestled in a backdrop of dimly lit library shelves. Pheasant feathered walls, cinematic art commissions, chainmail chandeliers, and custom carpet inspired by the Big Lebowski really “pull it all together”.  Fancy some bubbles while powdering your nose? Press for champagne! The custom brass buttons located in restrooms actually ring to the bar through the original red Bat phone from the late Adam West’s movie classic! From its concept to its table settings, suit of armor to antique crystal salt cellars, no detail was left untouched to set the scene where quiet voices speak with purpose and discretion.
